History[]
Little is known about Val'ir the Wise, only that he comes from a great line of which the males were named Val'ir, after the Apexis Engineer Val'ir the Elder.
The Exile[]
Val'ir was discovered helping the Highguard in their race to secure the Apexis technology against the sin'dorei Reliquary. The last remaining Adherents of Rukhmar arrested him, and took him to Skyreach, where he was cast down in a ceremony that the Highguard and Sir Shindo attempted to interrupt in a race to the Dead Pools. Unfortunately, they could not catch him, and Val'ir plummeted into the pools. His mind was warped and twisted with his body, and he attempted to lash out against the allied party, but was subdued and taken to Veil Terrok where the other Outcasts utilised the Eye of Anzu to free his mind.
